Default Easter and 6th Year Anniversary?

I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to the chance of grinding golden eggs and chocolate bunnies until my eyeballs bleed and I tear my hair out. That said; Easter Sunday is going to come within spitting distance of the 6th Year Anniversary. So what's the deal? Merged holiday, or possibly push one forward/back in favor of the other?

Personally, I'm hoping we get our Sweet Treat Weekend sooner.

according to This, we'll get our sweet treats weekend one week before the 6th b'day. Though I'm not exactly certain how reliable those predictions are.

I am assuming that they will keep the easter weekend on the same weekend as easter, and move the birthday celebration to start the tuesday after?

That could be a tough move though because people will start getting presents early because of beta, and they will turn 6 during no celebration if the above is the case.

I doubt they would merge the two holidays because, Bunnies+cupcakes+eggs=Raptors and Vatteirs literally spitting out 2 things per death haha.

The only other option would be the sweet treat weekend 1 week and a half from now, then the birthday starting the weekend after that which would lead up to the 26th...I believe?

But they already have the upcoming weekend wrong, why should they predict that specific one correct?

Odds are they'll have the Bunnies/Golden Eggs dropping on Easter Weekend and the following weekend will be the Birthday celebration. They'll start the Birthday stuff on either Wednesday the 27th or GW's actual birthday of Thursday the 28th.

Aye, noticed that too. In the past however the predictions have been relatively accurate, though as always there have been some miscalculations here and there. I was merely providing food for thought

Hi all,

Thanks for using my site (http://gw.web-widget.net). My predictions are based on 2010 week ends, but as you know last year's easter was sooner and i was unable to predict the "Double green" week end.

I try to keep my predictions as accurate as possible, but i have no contact to Anet, so all my datas comes from various wikis and forums. I can't guarantee anything about sweet treat and anniversary dates but that's seems the most logical to me. Keep in mind that exact start (and end) times of special events are always subject to changes.

I'll try to add more tools, but for now i'm working on optimizations for HoM and Template builder.

Best regards,

Thot.

Well, GW bday is always around the same time as my own bday, it's usually the weekend of the week of my bday, and this year my bday is on easter, so I'm not sure as to when it will be this year, as long as they don't combine it imo. Ima be afk'ing a whole week for lucky points (studying ftw ) and farming the other one for Treasure points, so let's hope they don't combine..

Great site! I have to show this to my friends if they don't already know about it. I may go poking around on the wikis and leave some questions in the talk pages of some of ANet's people. If that pans out, I'll report my findings here (assuming that everybody doesn't already know about it by that time).
